Most haunted why did it end

It's also pretty telling that this crew has apparently never investigated a 'haunted' place and concluded that it WASN'T haunted - not that I've seen, anyway. Or there ought to be. For heaven's sake literally , if you are going to exploit our credulity, at least put a little work and invention into it. These stage tricks and mind-games have been used by every "Gypsy" fortune teller, sleight-of-hand artist, and "medium" since the turn of the 19th century. It's searingly obvious that only the post-production use of ham-handed techniques taught in "Video Editing " pull this footage together.

Without them, this footage would be even less convincing than a high school "snipe hunt" or a "Haunted House" Halloween charity benefit. And the editors probably needed to get drunk out of their skulls to assemble each new episode.

Lord, this is awful. I alternated rolling on the floor with laughter and gritting my teeth with irritation at the bad acting, bad scripting, and bad camera-work. And at the brash, clumsy attempts of the producers to 'scare' the audience by lying through their collective teeth about what was actually happening ie, nothing much on location.

Watch this if you want to, it's no skin off my nose. Regardless of lack of scientific evidence, ghosts may indeed exist. But this show is a campfire ghost story pretending to be a 'documentary', and it has nothing but contempt for its audience.

I think Most Haunted is a fantastic series to watch. So far there has been 3 series of this programme and it is still going. I think it is a very interesting programme because it tells you places in the world that is haunted. It is quite scary and i think it's a great programme. I give this 10 out of Caz 24 June I agree with the Aussie reviewer here,if people don't believe in this sort of thing why kick up an argument with someone who does.

The choice in believing is entirely up to the individual, the programme is not on a main channel so why the arguments. The live editions are really good and can be really funny, did anyone see when Yvette had to walk through Epping Forest on her own at midnight, the live audience kept voting for her to go further and further in,she eventually said no.

The strange thing is the people who really believe in spirits never see anything, whereas the real sceptics like my son do see things,in one episode he saw a boy sitting on the stairs, not long after that lots of other people started texting in saying they had seen the same thing.

I think my son must have the insight, apparently you either have it or you don't. Its a great alternative programme which shouldn't be taken too seriously,it cant hurt anyone. Most Haunted. If any television show deserved an award for being addictive then "Most Haunted" would definitely have to take it! Shame this show isn't on a more popular channel, even if you don't believe in such things you simply cannot change the T.

V station! They have a always jumpy presenter, a Liverpudlian who can talk to the ghosts, a guy who has a Ghostbusters heat tracking wand and a historian in another room with a book! Now excuse my saracsm there but believe it or not I am a 'believer' BUT sometimes this show shoots itself in the foot so to speak because it's ridiculous!

And rarely discover anything! I really enjoy this show, it's great to watch with mates! Her annoying hairstyles have something to do with it and the fact that she just seems ingenuine and rather full of crap.

Plus the fact that they never find any evidence doesn't help. She just comes across as liar and an annoying person. The show is boring and it sucks. Should be canceled if it isn't already. I've watched all of the episodes of all 3 shows to current date and here's my breakdown. Most Haunted - highly theatrical, dramatic and genuinely fake at times. But they visit some great locations. The host and medium from the first season are fine for the full first season and the Unseen episodes as well.

However, after the first season it is quite the task to keep up with the squealing and crying of the main host and the sometimes genuinely fake and theatrical psychic. The sane people on the show is the director of investigations and the various parapsychologists. This show is purely for entertainment, and wishy washy at that.

It's a shame, the best parts of the show is during the lights out investigations and they are truly investigating. Some episodes from each season are worth watching as they visit all these great locations, as the show doesn't emphasis anything really but the mediums, using the ouiji board and history of the location. But sometimes even the history is almost difficult to believe as they don't name their sources and the mediums get them almost every time, clearly a setup and gimmick for the show.

This show is currently on the travel channel in the US. I highly recommend visiting the TV shows episodes website and watch them by highest rating. This is one of those shows that deserves it's own drinking game. Every time the host shrieks or cries, take a drink. Every time Derek says "Slaughter", take a drink. Every time they say that a place isn't haunted, drink a whole fifth of Everclear.

Where does one begin to unravel how stupid this show is? Yes, they go to interesting places. Yvette Fielding is about as scientifically minded as a carnival barker at the freakshow. She flips out as soon as the light are off, and every bump or cobweb is a sign that someone is trying to contact her. Derek Accora is ridiculously cheesy, especially when he goes into trances that supposedly lead to him "channeling" an evil spirit.

And his "spirit guide" Sam, Derek's imaginary friend whom he thanks profusely throughout the show always manages to give him half-correct clues that lead them to another room where Yvette will nearly pee her pants. Be sure to take a drink whenever the disclaimer at the bottom of the screen suggests that there's no proof to back up whatever Derek says.

It happens often, so you'll probably be toasted after one full episode. StuDeb2 16 November Going through the episodes from the beginning. I really love this show. It was put together so well. Such a great concept and the history of these places is fascinating. I like Evette Fielding but I just wish she could have not been so scared all the time. I couldn't have done it but the constant what's that noise and screaming while Derek was talking becomes really annoying.

I loved Derek Acorah, god rest his soul. I saw him live and I believe he was a talented medium. I didn't like what happened to him. Being set up and ridiculed. It tainted what was a great show. I can feel, the spirits Hail Derek Acorah! The bloke is so entertaining that, along with Yvette fieldings locked-in-a-dark-room escapades, he carries pretty much the entire series on his own. First time watched. And 20 seasons I'm in the wrong business.

People eat this stuff up. Wonder way. Except, I notice it is all the style that people respond to. It's not the evidence, it's the suggestion that something is eminent. Supposed to be "investigators", yet we noticed most action happens off camera. Need to leave room for an action to occur, because we all know can't happen with people noticing? And not enough equipment. Use some of your ill gotten money and buy more. Unless a camera shot is required around some emf tech shot.

Answer- spook effect! Or, maybe they can see the items they point out to in darkness? How convenient. I only started watching this series a few weeks ago and am now hooked. Unfortunately I understand that the show been shelved for the time being, but I am hopeful of a new series soon. The first episode I saw was the Tivoli Venue in Buckley with 3 new cast members. I don't know why but as a scientist and total sceptic I shouldn't really entertain this series, but I enjoy the picturesque and sometimes obscure locations chosen.

Often the show goes to parts of properties not normally seen by the public. The cast do try to generate some scare factor and they do have the right personalities for this show. Although the show has got a ten from me, I think there are ways that could improve the entertainment value, even if it is only to introduce variety into the format. One is to reintroduce the room layout animation that was used in the series so that you could follow where the cast are.

Second, carry out the initial walk through with Glen without interruptions from noises etc and at least cover all of the areas that are to be included in the investigation. Third, avoid 'lone vigils', as it seems difficult to generate much scare when the investigations are done alone. Fifth, use more 'technology' laser beams, ghost boxes etc. Although probably meaningless as scientific methods, it is entertaining to watch them in use and it does give the show a veneer of scientific credibility.

And finally the show could use some female leads as it did in the past, as the show is a bit male heavy at present. Great show and I am looking forward to a new series in Covid permitting, of course. In defense of the show To'kun 23 July I've long had an interest in the paranormal and recently discovered this TV series because North American television stations rarely carry such programming that lasts beyond two seasons before getting cancelled.

When comparing MTV's Fear which exists mostly to shock , Sightings and Unexplained Mysteries which does try to give facts to this UK show, I believe the folks in the other side of the Atlantic takes the stuff seriously and moreso historically.
